hey :) another fall inspired post!
I really feel this time of year is really important on updating your style and making your spring/summer style evolve into your fall/winter looks.

THE "IT" COLOR
The "It" Color by OPI is a really really fun fall-inspired polish. Although it is not in OPI's fall collection, I feel that it deserves to be mentioned. Yellow nails have been really big this entire year, but this type of yellow is unusual and perfect for the cooler months. The best way to describe this polish is a mustard yellow. The consistency is great--not too thick, not too thin. Two coats are all that are needed. A fun fall color like this one is essential for fall nails.
LINCOLN PARK AFTER DARK
One of OPI's most famous polishes, this color is PERFECT for fall. It is a very dark, almost black, polish with deep plum undertones. The payoff is fabulous, only one coat is truly needed (although I always use two). This color is also not in OPI's fall collection but is a necessity for fall and winter months. A dark plum/eggplant is a staple in any nail fanatic's collection.
READY TO WEAR RED
A good red nail polish is a staple for fall nails. It is important to find one that suits your skin tone. Milani's Ready To Wear Red is a perfect fall polish, and a perfect red in my opinion. It has a dark, vampy vibe with blue undertones. I feel that this color works well with alot of skintones. This is one of the best drugstore brands I have found and the color consistency is amazing.
MINK MUFFS
A really popular fall nail trend is very muddy colors. A dark, plummy-gray is going to be very fashionable this fall and winter. Mink Muffs is my favorite fall polish. It works well with most skintones. This color is still on the neutral side, but it really stands out. The consistency is good and another added bonus is all Essie polishes are natural and made without formaldehyde.
ORIGINALITY
A good frosted polish is also very in this fall. I love this color by Mac because it really plays off the autumn colors and the changing leaves. I feel this is a really really good frost, it's not too glittery and applys with ease. Although a lot of Mac polishes are sheer this one is very opaque--another plus! I originally got this polish with mac's summer 2010 collection: Pret-a-Papier, but I know this color is typically on Mac's permanent line. If you can get your hands on this polish I would definitely recommend it !
